Role: Learning Support Assistant for SEMH/Vulnerable children

Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

Pay: £90 - £120 PER DAY

Location – Radlett (Hertfordshire)

About the role:

Provide tailored support to students with complex and challenging behaviours, fostering their personal and academic growth in a nurturing environment
Build strong, trusting relationships with students, using individualized communication techniques to meet their unique needs.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create consistent, structured routines while remaining flexible to adapt to changing circumstances.
Use resilience, persistence, and problem-solving skills to address daily challenges and support students’ well-being and progress.
Play a key role in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring every student feels valued and supported.
The ideal candidate must:

Have the right to work within the UK
DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
Have experience working with students who have complex and challenging behaviours
Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
Be able to support the teacher in and around the classroom
Work with small groups of children
