Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias

Warwickshire | £50,000+ | 12-hour Continental Shifts (2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Off)
Manufacturing | Global Business | Hands-On Team Role

You’ll play a key part in keeping a 24/7 site running efficiently, carrying out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and improvement projects. It’s a hands-on role where every shift brings something new, and your contribution is genuinely valued.

What You’ll Do

*

Keep lines running through reactive and preventative maintenance.

*

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults (roughly 60/40 split).

*

Work on varied machinery including extruders, shredders, washers, and wastewater systems.

*

Take full ownership of jobs - from fault to fix and accurate handover.

*

Collaborate with your team to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

*

Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards across the plant.

What We’re Looking For

*

A qualified Maintenance Engineer (electrical or multi-skilled).

*

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

*

Strong electrical skills with solid mechanical knowledge.

*

Confident reading technical drawings (electrical, pneumatic, PLCs).

*

A team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

*

Full UK driving licence.

Nice to Have

*

Time-served apprenticeship or 18th Edition certification.

*

FLT licence or background in high-volume 24/7 manufacturing.
