Field Service Engineer

Certain Advantage are hiring for a Field Service Engineer based in Maidenhead.

This role is on a permanent basis. There will be regular travel to client sites across the UK.

We’re working with an organisation that provides tailored IT solutions aimed at helping businesses grow and operate more efficiently. They specialise in managed IT services including cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and applications, communications and connectivity, as well as hardware and compliance support.

The individual:

Diligent and logical approach to working with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer focused approach and commitment to service delivery
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Bring an in-depth knowledge of Windows technologies such as Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
Strong networking capabilities (DNS, Routing, switching etc.)
Installation, testing and troubleshooting of CAT6 cabling
Installation, testing and troubleshooting of fiber
Installation of conferencing systems
Installation of POS
Experience with Meraki / Draytek / Sophos firewalls
