Senior Estimator – Central London – £100k–£120k + Commission (OTE £150k–£170k)

Location: Central London
Salary: £100,000 – £120,000 + Commission (OTE £150,000 – £170,000) + Benefits

The Opportunity

We’re representing one of London’s most established Design & Build fit out contractors, renowned for delivering exceptional commercial and education CAT B projects across the capital. With a rich history, outstanding reputation, and a diverse client base, this company is a true leader in the London fit out market.

As part of their continued growth, they’re seeking a Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This is a highly visible and client-facing role, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal part in winning new business and shaping the early stages of landmark D&B projects.

You’ll have the autonomy to lead tenders, influence design development, and collaborate closely with clients and consultants to secure and deliver innovative workspace solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

*

Take ownership of tenders from initial enquiry through to submission and contract award

*

Engage directly with clients, consultants, and designers to develop relationships and win work

*

Prepare accurate and commercially competitive cost plans and tender submissions

*

Attend client meetings, presentations, and interviews to support bid success

*

Identify and implement value-engineering opportunities and design optimisations

*

Work collaboratively with internal design, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers

*

Manage subcontractor pricing, quotations, and market analysis

*

Support and mentor junior estimators and pre-construction staff where required

What We’re Looking For

*

Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within a Design & Build fit out contractor

*

Strong background in CAT B commercial and/or education fit out projects

*

Confident managing tenders up to £5m

*

Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships

*

Track record of contributing to successful bid wins and repeat business

*

Strong commercial awareness and understanding of D&B contracts

*

Proficiency with ConQuest, Excel, or similar estimating software

*

A proactive, driven, and solutions-oriented approach
