Location: Glasgow and Surrounding Area
Salary: £40,000–£55,000 (dependent on experience) + Company Car

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join the company’s expanding sales team in Scotland. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to sustained growth by developing new business relationships within the independent food and hospitality sector, while promoting a diverse and high-quality product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and secure new independent business opportunities to deliver sustained sales growth.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with independent cafés, restaurants, pubs, and caterers.

*

Provide tailored menu and supply solutions designed to enhance customer profitability and efficiency.

*

Manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent performance against agreed targets.

*

Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and high customer satisfaction from day one.

*

Monitor market and competitor trends, using commercial insight to support customer growth and retention.

Skills & Experience

*

Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the foodservice, catering, or hospitality sector.

*

Demonstrable success in winning and developing new business accounts.

*

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance indicators and identify growth opportunities.

*

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging with customers face-to-face.

*

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

*

Knowledge of food products, catering operations, or menu development is advantageous but not essential; full product training will be provided.
