XCL Group are looking for a hardworking individual to join a growing company based in Huddersfield. Our client is a market leader within the textiles industry and due to an increase in workload are looking for additional staff to assist within their busy production environment. This role will need you to be on your feet and have a keen eye for detail with full training being given from the start of the assignment.

Job Responsibilities

* Inspection of rolls of cloth and Identifying any irregularities.

* Checking the length of the rolls and inputting all correct information into the internal system.

* Working closely with the mending and inspection teams.

* Practicing excellent health and safety at all times.

* Ensuring working areas are cleaned down and kept tidy.

Job Requirements

* Past experience within a production or textiles environment.

* Keen eye for detail when inspecting products against colour charts & identifying any abnormalities.

* Manual handling will be a big part of the job role so must be confident with heavy lifting and repetitive duties.

Working Hours

Mon – Thurs 7:30am – 4:30pm

Friday 7:00am – 12:00pm (Early finish on Fridays!!)

This will be a fast-paced role which will be demanding at times and will require the successful person to lift heavy products and work on some of the work benches. This position would be a temporary to permanent position for the right person.
