DT Teacher – Nuneaton – ASAP
Salary: £150-£260 per day (paid weekly)
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Long term role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a forward-thinking Secondary School in Nuneaton for an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher with QTS to join the team as soon as possible.
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about practical learning, confident using CAD/CAM technology and able to deliver engaging lessons that ignite curiosity, creativity and technical skill.

The school has a vibrant and well-resourced Design Technology Department, equipped with cutting-edge facilities including CAD suites, laser cutters and 3D printers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
* Plan and deliver dynamic, practical lessons that challenge and inspire students
* Integrate CAD/CAM technology and modern manufacturing methods into learning
* Support students in developing design thinking, technical skills and resilience
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote STEM and design innovation across the school
* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school’s behaviour policy
* Work in partnership with parents/carers, ensuring open, respectful and timely communication to celebrate success and address concerns
* Engage in continuous professional learning, embracing feedback and contribute to departmental excellence
