My client are a leading designer and manufacturing of packaging for the UK retail market. For the last nearly 60 years, this business has been at the forefront of innovation, sustainability, and manufacturing processes within their sector.

As a privately owned family business, they are proud of their reputation in the local area as an employer of choice, with several members of staff achieving over 10 years continuous service with the company.

With an already packed production plan, and a growing order book, they are looking for a Gluing Machine Operator to join them on a double day shift pattern, operating state-of-the-art Bobst and Baumer equipment.

Your main job purposes will include, but not be limited to

* Operate gluing machinery across all carton styles, including undersize, straight-line, crash lock, and integral fitments.

* Maintain high attention to detail and uphold quality standards throughout production.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to ensure optimal output.

* Work effectively under tight deadlines in a dynamic and adaptable environment.

* Communicate clearly and collaborate with team members.

* Lead a small team and report directly to the Gluing Manager.

* Demonstrate pride and ownership in producing cartons.

Ideally you will have 2-5 years’ experience as a gluing operator, with knowledge of carton and packaging styles, and show a commitment to the quality and precision required to produce the high end packaging my client is renowned for.
