Role: Aviation Safety Advisor
Location: Teesside
Salary: £60 - £65k

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Safety Advisor to act as flight operations subject matter expert at the Teesside main operating base of an aviation business. This is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between the aviation safety team and operational delivery.

Responsibilities

Be the go-to flight operations subject matter expert for the Teesside operation.
Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, and the development of safety cases.
Support AOC management of change activities and safety investigations.
Represent the company at regional and airport safety forums.
Contribute to safety review boards, safety action groups, occurrence review meetings, and daily risk assessment meetings.Requirements:

Background in operational military or civil flying, or equivalent (e.g. ATC, FC, ABM).
Proven experience in safety management systems and flight safety organisations.
Strong understanding of aviation safety regulations and risk management tools.
Experience in safety training delivery and safety documentation development.
Additional Info:

Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
This role does not have direct reports but requires strong cross-functional collaboration.Offer:
