Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Join Excell Supply

Start Date: ASAP | Contract: Flexible, supply basis | Pay: £100– £130 per day (dependant on experience)

Make a real impact in the classroom.
We’re looking for confident, experienced HLTAs to support local primary schools. Whether you’re covering lessons, leading small groups, or supporting class teachers, you’ll help keep learning focused and inclusive.

What you’ll be doing:

* Delivering planned lessons in the teacher’s absence

* Running small group interventions and catch-up sessions

* Supporting behaviour and engagement in class

* Assisting with preparation and feedback

* Guiding other support staff when required

What you’ll need:

* HLTA qualification

* Classroom experience, ideally leading groups or classes

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

* A flexible, proactive approach and strong communication skills
