Yard Person / Yard Hand
Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Yard Worker to join our team. The Yard Worker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with various tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
* Keep the yard clean and organized
* Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
* Assist with inventory management
* Operate various yard equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
* Assist with general maintenance tasks, such as painting and repairs
* Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Essential Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred
* Ability to operate yard equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Work Environment
* Outdoor work environment
* Noisy and dusty conditions
* Exposure to various weather conditions
