Join a leading manufacturer in the aerospace sector, where precision, safety, and quality are at the core of everything they do. Our client is currently seeking an experienced Aerospace/Aircraft Fitter with a background in structural work to help build complex assemblies for high-performance aircraft platforms.

Duties as an Aircraft/Aerospace Fitter -

*

Assemble precision-engineered metallic components into airframe sub-assemblies, following detailed instructions and diagrams.

*

Operate a variety of hand and power tools to carry out tasks such as:

*

Precision drilling and countersinking

*

Rivet installation (various types)

*

Application of aerospace-grade sealants and bonding agents

*

Insertion of thread repair systems (e.g. helicoils), bearings, and bushes

*

Ensure all work meets rigorous aerospace manufacturing and quality standards.

*

Follow established safety protocols and support a clean, organised working environment by upholding 5S principles.

Experience/skills needed from the Aircraft/Aerospace Fitter-

*

Hands-on experience in aerospace assembly, ideally within a structural or airframe setting.

*

Confident interpreting technical drawings and documentation.

*

Knowledge of mechanical joining methods, sealants, and structural fasteners.

*

Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

*

Strong awareness of health, safety, and cleanliness in a production setting.
