Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Building & Refurbishment

Central Belt, Scotland | Permanent | Up to £65,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge within the commercial building and refurbishment sector?

I'm currently working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected main contractor, who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of a Senior QS. Based in the Central Belt of Scotland, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with a strong pipeline of public and private sector work across education, healthcare, office fit-outs, and civic buildings.

The Role:

You’ll take a lead role in managing commercial and contractual aspects of multiple projects, typically ranging from £500k to £5m in value. This will include:

* Preparing and managing accurate cost plans, valuations, and final accounts

* Procuring and managing subcontractor packages

* Contract administration (predominantly JCT)

* Cost reporting and forecasting

* Working closely with the site and project teams to ensure commercial targets are met

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience in a similar Senior Quantity Surveyor role

* Background in commercial refurbishment and/or fit-out projects preferred

* Sound understanding of JCT/NEC3/NEC4 contracts

* Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail

* A confident communicator who can build strong relationships across project teams

* Full UK driving licence
