Recovery Coordinator – Grimsby
Location: Grimsby
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Rate: £18.00 - £20.00
Contract: Initial 3–6 month contract with potential extension
Setting: Private Charity

We’re currently recruiting for a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to join a well-established private charity in Grimsby, providing vital support to individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse.

You’ll be working as part of a passionate multidisciplinary team to support service users on their recovery journey, using a person-centred approach that promotes independence, harm reduction, and sustained change.

Responsibilities include:

*

Managing a caseload of service users with varying substance misuse issues

*

Completing comprehensive assessments and risk management plans

*

Delivering 1:1 keywork sessions and structured interventions

*

Liaising with clinical, criminal justice, and housing services as part of multi-agency support

*

Supporting service users in developing recovery plans and achieving meaningful outcomes

Ideal candidate:

*

Previous experience in substance misuse, addiction recovery, or a similar field

*

Confident in case management and delivering recovery-focused interventions

*

Able to work independently and as part of a team

*

Knowledge of safeguarding protocols and local referral pathways

*

A relevant qualification (e.g. Health & Social Care, Counselling, Substance Misuse) is desirable
