Description

Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who specializes in mission critical turnkey solutions. Employing over 750 professionals and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centre’s, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for Mechanical Package Managers to join them on a Data Centre Project in Zurich.
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Plan, coordinate, and manage all activities related to the mechanical package scope, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
* Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of mechanical package documentation, including specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
* Manage procurement processes for mechanical equipment and materials, liaising with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
* Coordinate with design, construction, commissioning, and procurement teams to ensure smooth integration of the mechanical package into the overall project.
* Monitor mechanical package progress, budget, and schedule, identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures to maintain project milestones.
* Lead technical reviews and meetings related to the mechanical package, addressing design queries and resolving conflicts proactively.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements throughout the mechanical package lifecycle.
* Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation for mechanical package status, progress, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
You Will Need:
* A Professional Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
* A minimum of 10 years experience managing works on large scale projects.
* Data Centre experience is not required but desirable.
* An EU passport may be required for this role.
