Experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator
Location: Tyseley, Birmingham
Salary: £600 per week plus overtime.
Hours:
*
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
*
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Start: Immediate
About the Company
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke stainless-steel fabrications, serving a wide range of industries from their modern facility in Tyseley, Birmingham.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Setter/Operator to join the fabrication team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality, one-off stainless steel components.
Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture components from stainless steel sheets (typically 1mm–3mm, occasionally up to 5mm).
*
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*
Set and operate Amada CNC brake press machines.
*
Carry out tool changes and adjust machine settings as required.
*
Ensure precision, accuracy, and quality standards are maintained throughout production.
What You’ll Need
*
Proven experience as a Brake Press Setter/Operator, ideally on Amada machines.
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
*
Flexible and reliable with a proactive attitude.
