Peacock Sourcing Limited are currently recruiting for a Paint Technician to work for their well-established client based in Swindon

In this role you will join a well-established body shop as part of a skilled team, our client will provide you with the benefits of excellent training to develop your skillset to ensure that you meet the high standards required.

The ideal candidate should:

* Have previous experience working in a body shop as a Paint Technician or similar.

* You will need to have served either a recognised apprenticeship and gained a technical qualification or trained to City and Guilds standard NVQ, ATA or equivalent.

* Have excellent communication and organisation skills.

* Be punctual, arrive to work on time.

* Have a full UK driving License

Working Hours

Full time hours

Pay

£30,000 - £50,000 Per Year (Pay is competitive and dependant on experience)

Duties

As a paint technician you will be expected carry out the following:

Cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces to ensure an even and flawless paint job, using computerized technology and paint codes to create the exact colour needed to match existing paintwork, spraying or applying primers, base coats, and lacquers with precision using appropriate tools and techniques, polishing and buffing the painted surface to achieve a smooth, factory-standard finish. Along with maintaining tools and equipment, keeping the work area clean, following all safety protocols and creating records of completed work.
