Computer Science Teacher (with some Business Studies) – Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Horsham

Salary: MPS/UPS

Start Date: ASAP

Hire Grade are working with for a passionate and innovative Computer Science Teacher who can also deliver some Business Studies lessons.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent teaching position for a Computer Science specialist. You will primarily teach Computer Science across multiple year groups, with the opportunity to deliver a small number of Business Studies lessons. The role is ideal for a motivated teacher looking to inspire students and contribute to a supportive, forward-thinking school environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons

* Deliver a small number of Business Studies lessons

* Set, mark, and provide feedback on student work

* Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

* Support students’ academic progress and exam preparation

Person Specification

* Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science (Business Studies experience is a bonus)

* Excellent classroom management and communication skills

* Ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge students

* Enthusiastic about using technology to enhance learning

* Committed to ongoing professional development
