Graduate/Junior Controls Engineer

£35,000 - £42,000 Per Annum

Permanent, Full Time

Bristol

A leading manufacturer in Bristol are recruiting now for a Graduate or Junior PLC Controls Engineer to join them as they start to grow as a team and are scaling their operation. This is an amazing opportunity to develop your skills within PLC Control Systems and Automation with an organisation developing fantastic, innovative engineering solutions.

Graduate/Junior PLC Controls Engineer

Key Responsibilities

* Programming PLC’s and SCADA systems

* Troubleshooting controls and automation systems

* Supporting and owning the delivery of automation projects, from concept to completion

* Designing panels and control cabinets

* Specifying, testing and commissioning engineering automation software and solutions

* Implementing a variety of complex solutions within an innovative manufacturing hub

* Supporting continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency

Graduate/Junior PLC Controls Engineer

Skills/Experience

* Apprenticeship trained, HND, Beng or BSc qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or similar

* Have knowledge or experience working with PLC Control systems such as Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar

* Previous experience in electrical design

* Knowledge and understanding of SCADA systems

* Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills

* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

* Starting salary between £35,000 - £42,000
