Have you got experience working as Housing Officer, Tenancy Advisor, Neighbourhood Officer, or other support role, in Social Housing, Supported Living, or other similar environment?

This is a field-based role working in communities and neighbourhoods around Kent for a housing association with their HQ in Chatham.

If you’re passionate about helping older people live independently — this could be the perfect role for you.

This position focuses on housing support, you’ll help residents in sheltered housing schemes with practical housing matters, offering guidance and ensuring they can continue to live safely and independently in their homes.

Salary £29,662 and they are open to someone coming in on a temporary or permanent basis, depending on your circumstances and what you're looking for.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting residents to manage their tenancies and maintain their independence.
Advising on welfare benefits, income maximisation and housing options.
Managing lettings, needs assessments and viewings for scheme properties.
Liaising with families, social services and community partners to ensure residents get the right support.
Carrying out welfare and safety checks, and making sure buildings are well maintained.
Handling tenancy-related cases such as rent, anti-social behaviour or neighbour concerns — never personal care duties.What we’re looking for:

Experience in housing, supported living, or customer-focused roles.
Excellent communication, empathy and problem-solving skills.
Organised and confident working independently.
