Payments Acceptance Consultant – 12-Month Contract (Hybrid) – Spanish Preferred

Are you a skilled communicator with a strong technical understanding of card payments and acceptance systems? We’re looking for a Payments Acceptance Consultant to join our team on a 12-month hybrid contract.

About the Role

As a Payments Acceptance Consultant, you’ll be the main point of contact for clients, helping resolve issues related to card breakages (not declines)—for example, POS software malfunctions or ecommerce platforms not accepting client cards.

You’ll work closely with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to identify issues, provide solutions, and ensure a smooth payments experience.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for client issues related to card acceptance and processing.

*

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues such as POS software errors or ecommerce payment failures.

*

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.

*

Manage multiple client relationships efficiently with strong organization and prioritization.

*

Present findings and updates clearly to both clients and stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

*

Solid understanding of card payment processes and systems.

*

Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

*

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

*

Strong customer relationship management and organizational skills.

*

Previous experience in Payments, Fintech, or E-commerce environments preferred.

Languages

*

Spanish preferred.

*

French, Italian, or Portuguese also considered.
