Description

Building Control Surveyor required to support the delivery of Building Regulations compliance across a wide range of sectors and projects.

You’ll work closely with design teams to interpret regulatory requirements, develop compliance strategies, and contribute to quality assurance throughout design and construction phases.

This role plays a key part in supporting project teams with practical, design-integrated compliance advice.

Key Responsibilities

Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction details for regulatory compliance.

*

Identify and help resolve potential compliance risks.

*

Contribute to internal guidance, templates, and best practice documentation.

*

Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure coordinated compliance.

Requirements

*

Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and their practical application.

*

A background in architecture, building control, or technical design, supported by relevant qualifications.

*

Experience supporting design and delivery teams throughout project lifecycles.

*

Excellent communication skills, with the confidence across disciplines.

*

The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a national team.
