Reeson Education are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a high-performing primary school in Hackney from September 2025, working 1:1 with a Year 1 pupil.

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Hackney
Start date: September 2025
End date: July 2026
Daily pay: £82.14 - £100

About the Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

Work 1:1 with a Year 1 pupil as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Support learning, emotional development, and classroom participation
Adapt materials and tasks to suit individual needs as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Collaborate with SENCO and class teacher to implement tailored strategies
Full-time, long-term SEN Teaching Assistant role until July 2026About the School - SEN Teaching Assistant

Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar
Skilled at managing challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent way
Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about supporting SEN pupils
Good literacy and communication skills, vital for an SEN Teaching Assistant
