About the role:

An exciting, challenging and rewarding long-term career opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Person to join our existing Distribution team at Glasdon UK Limited, Blackpool.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries; ensure accurate stock handling and storage.
Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods; ensure correct packaging, documentation, and timely shipment.
Carry out local deliveries as required, ensuring safe and professional customer service.
Assist with inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised.
Flexibility to support other warehouse tasks as needed.
Manual handling and working in varying warehouse conditions.Ideal Candidate Background:

Good attention to detail.
Reliable with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Practically minded.
A confident person with good communication skills.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Basic knowledge of IT literacy.
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
Must hold a valid RITIB or Counterbalance Forklift Truck Certificate.
