We are seeking an inspiring and adaptable Teacher to join a dedicated alternative education provision, supporting learners to re-engage with education and achieve meaningful outcomes.

Role Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching across core subjects, tailored to meet individual student needs.

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to support students who may have faced barriers to learning.

Create a nurturing, safe and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Track progress, complete assessments, and adapt planning to ensure continual improvement.

Support pastoral care, helping students develop confidence, motivation, and resilience.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and maintain high standards of provision.

Promote positive behaviour through restorative approaches and strong relationships.

Essential Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.

Experience working with young people with additional or behavioural needs.

Strong subject knowledge - ideally in English, Maths, or Humanities.

Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage hard-to-reach learners.

Compassionate, patient, and committed to inclusive education.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
