Description

A leading commercial explosive manufacturer in the UK is seeking an experienced Multi-Disciplinary NVQ Assessor to join their team. This is a vital position supporting learners in achieving vocational qualifications across sectors such as Drilling, Shotfiring, and HGV Driving. You’ll be responsible for delivering fair, consistent assessments, maintaining regulatory compliance, and contributing to the growth and development of professionals across various industries.

This would be an ideal job for a Quarry Manager or NVQ Assessor.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver vocational assessments in line with awarding body requirements.
Support and guide learners through their qualification journey.
Conduct workplace observations, interviews, and professional discussions.
Use e-portfolio systems to monitor progress and provide feedback.
Collaborate with employers, training providers, and colleagues. Essential Criteria

Experience assessing across multiple disciplines.
Strong knowledge of vocational qualifications and industry standards.
Proficient in using IT and e-portfolio systems.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Strong time management, communication, and organisational skills. Desirable
Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualification or willingness to work towards one.
Experience delivering training or workshops.
Knowledge of apprenticeships and end-point assessments.
