Are you passionate about helping children with special educational needs achieve their full potential? Do you bring patience, empathy, and energy to your work? We are supporting a friendly and inclusive SEN school in New Malden that is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their committed team.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant in this specialist environment, you will:

Support pupils with a range of complex needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and sensory or physical challenges.
Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning and support strategies.
Provide one-to-one and small group assistance to help pupils engage with learning and develop vital life skills.
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interactions through consistent support.
Help to maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

Experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs (highly desirable).
A compassionate, adaptable, and resilient attitude.
Strong teamwork, communication, and behaviour management skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all pupils.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are a bonus but not essential.Whether you're experienced in SEN or looking to begin your career in special education, we warmly welcome your application.
