Experienced Finance Manager Wanted! 🚨

Location: Livingston (fully office based)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Up to £32,000 DOE

Are you a confident finance professional with a passion for leading teams and driving operational excellence? We're recruiting for a Finance Manager to take ownership of a busy operational finance function within a well-established business in Livingston.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is ready to make a real impact.

🌟 What You'll Be Doing

Leading and developing a small operational finance team (currently three people)
Managing the full month-end process from start to finish
Producing client reports including work in progress, accruals, and other key financials
Overseeing both sales and purchase ledger functions
Acting as the go-to for escalations and complex queries
Supporting the Head of Finance with reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
Driving process improvements and identifying efficiencies
Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Supporting audit preparation and financial documentation

Exceptional people management skills - previous experience is a must
A solid background in finance - confident with ledgers, reporting, and month-end
Strong communication and leadership qualities
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
