Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a well-established and supportive secondary school in Blackburn. This full-time position is to start ASAP and will be ongoing, offering an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact in a thriving educational setting.

Position Details:

Contract Type: Full-time, Ongoing

Daily Rate: £168 – £215 per day

About the Role:

Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons aligned to the national curriculum

*

Plan and prepare high-quality lessons tailored to a range of abilities

*

Promote critical thinking, tolerance, and cultural understanding

*

Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback

*

Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

*

Contribute to wider school activities and departmental development

The Ideal Candidate Will:

*

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Have strong subject knowledge in Religious Education (KS3 & KS4)

*

Be confident in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons

*

Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

*

Be passionate about inspiring young people and promoting values of respect and diversity

*

Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
