Sheffield

Full Time, Part Time, Day to Day opportunities available (Monday-Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm)

At Career Teachers we are currently working with several primary schools in Sheffield who require a Teaching Assistants to work on long term, full time, part time and a day to day basis. We are looking for resilient Teaching Assistants with strong behaviour management skills to join our successful team.

Your Requirements:

Experience working with children and young people.
A recognised teaching assistant qualification such as Level 2, Level 3 or studying for a degree in education or transferable skills.
Confident in managing challenging behaviours, defusing situations, and making a calm and positive environment for students to progress in.
A calm, patient manner with a positive can-do attitude.Your Role:

You will be working with the class teacher and other members of support staff to ensure that the pupil receives the care required to cater for their unique needs.
You must be able to build trusting and meaningful relationships and ensure that they are engaged in learning and activities.
This is a full-time role starting this September, we are looking for a committed and passionate teaching assistant who is looking to join a successful team of practitioners and really make a difference!
