Lancaster

Full Time Monday to Friday to start ASAP

Long Term Ongoing until July 2026

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity?

Do you have Experience in a classroom?

Tradewind are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join a Priamry School in Lancaster, working as a Teaching Assistant supporting across year groups. The role is on a full-time basis 5 days a week starting ASAP. The role is working 8.30-3.30 with daily pay rates for this position £90-£115.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for all children. You will assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons, providing support for children, managing behaviour and helping to maintain a safe and orderly classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, as well as a passion for working with children.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

NVQ level 2 qualification
Experience of working with children or in a school setting
Have an understanding of EHCP's
SEN experience would be an advantage.
Ideally experience in EYFS/KS1/KS2 - preferred but not essential
Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
