This company is a highly respected British precision engineering firm known for quality, innovation, and investing in their people. They're now looking for a versatile and detail-focused CNC Programmer / Setter Operator to join their PM shift production team.

You'll program, set up, and operate CNC machines, interpret engineering drawings, and produce precision components. Manual machining tasks will also be part of your role, alongside first-off inspections, in-process checks, and contributing to continuous improvement projects. Training, guidance, and career development will be provided.

This role suits a skilled CNC Programmer / Setter Operator, Conventional Machinist, or Ex-Forces / REME Engineer seeking stability, teamwork, and the satisfaction of producing precision-engineered products to the highest standards.

The Role:

CNC & Manual Machining: Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, plus perform manual milling and lathe tasks.
Precision & Quality: Interpret engineering drawings, carry out inspections, and produce highquality components to tight tolerances.
Team & Development: Work in a supportive production team with opportunities for training, career progression, and continuous improvement.

The Candidate:

Experienced & Skilled: Proficient in CNC programming, machine setup, and manual machining (mills/lathes)
DetailOriented & Quality-Focused: Able to interpret engineering drawings accurately and maintain high production standards.
Reliable & Team Player: Works independently or as part of a team, follows processes, and contributes to continuous improvement.
