Pay Rate: £140 – £230 per day

TeacherActive is delighted to be partnering with a welcoming, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ SEND provision in Grimsby that is dedicated to delivering exceptional education and care for pupils with a broad range of special educational needs. We’re currently recruiting for a skilled and compassionate SEND Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

What we’re looking for:

We’re particularly keen to hear from teachers who have experience supporting pupils with:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)

ADHD, ADD, or related behavioural challenges

The successful SEND Teacher will:

Hold QTS/QTLS or an equivalent qualification

Have prior experience in SEND or alternative provision settings

Demonstrate effective differentiation and behaviour management strategies

Be confident teaching across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4

Ideally have experience with a Nurture Curriculum

Bring patience, empathy, and adaptability to their teaching approach

Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
