Sheet Metal Worker - Aerospace Components

Location: Darwen | Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 (DOE) | Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Mon-Thurs)

Are you a precision-driven fabricator ready to work a 4-day week?
If you enjoy working to high tolerances, love hands-on fabrication, and want to contribute to advanced aerospace engineering, this could be your next career move.

Here's what you'll be doing
You'll be fabricating, shaping and assembling aerospace sheet metal parts using hand tools, power equipment, brakes, presses, and CNC machinery. Working from detailed drawings, your skill will directly contribute to high-performance aircraft structures. You'll also handle repairs, inspections and collaborate with engineers to resolve production challenges.

4-day working week (Mon-Thurs)

Time and a half overtime (Fri-Sat), double on Sundays

28 days holiday (based on 4-day week)

What you need to bring

A good level of experience in sheet metal work (aerospace is a plus)

Experience working with aluminium, titanium or stainless steel

Ability to interpret technical drawings
