About the Opportunity

I’m working with a well-established, industry-leading organisation within the distribution sector that’s looking to strengthen its finance team with an experienced Credit Administrator.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in finance or credit control administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting the credit control and finance departments to ensure customer accounts are managed efficiently and accurately.

The Role

You’ll be part of a close-knit finance team, responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day credit administration tasks, supporting the wider credit control function.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update customer account information within the finance system.

*

Process credit applications and support credit checks for new and existing clients.

*

Monitor account activity and assist in the collection of outstanding payments.

*

Produce and distribute statements, reminders, and customer correspondence.

*

Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies in payments or invoices.

*

Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries promptly.

*

Provide administrative support to the finance and credit teams as required.

About You

You’re detail-oriented, organised, and confident working with numbers. You enjoy working within structured processes but aren’t afraid to show initiative when needed.

Essential Skills & Experience:

*

Previous experience in a finance or credit control admin role.

*

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

*

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

*

Confident using Excel and finance systems (training provided if needed).

*

A team player with strong organisational and time management skills.
