Multi Skilled Materials Handler

* Have you got valid licences for FLT Reach, Counterbalance, and Side Loader?

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced and adaptable Multi Skilled Materials Handler to join our well established client.

Responsibilities:

* Operate MHE, including side loaders, to load/unload products safely and efficiently.

* Liaise with Lead Hands and Stockyard Manager to achieve stockyard operational targets and goals.

* Perform daily safety checks on equipment and follow site procedures.

* Pick, prepare, and load orders accurately using inventory and ERP systems.

* Handle inbound/outbound goods, including stock rotation (FIFO).

* Maintain stock accuracy and report discrepancies or quality issues.

* Keep stockyard clean, organised, and safe, ensuring clear access at all times.

* Support general yard duties and respond to internal order requests.

* Follow all health and safety guidelines and be flexible with overtime when required.

* Responsible for undertaking daily housekeeping routines.

* Liaise with on site shunter for trailer selection.

Requirements:

* FLT Reach, Counterbalance & Side Loader trained with current licence.

* Experience of working within a stockyard environment, outside in all weathers.

* Awareness of MRP / Stock Control principles.

* Full Driving Licence.

* Computer literacy in word, excel and outlook.

* Experience of liaising with customers and suppliers.

* Excellent safety awareness is essential with willingness to receive training in legislation and auditing as required.

Salary: £29,109 Per Annum (Including Shift Allowance).

Working hours: Monday to Friday / 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm.
