Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £6 million industrial warehouse development in Newmarket (CB8).

The ideal candidate shall have experience in the sectors of work we operate in, delivering schemes of up to £20 million in value, and an excellent managerial background with a proven track record.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the life-cycle of your project from delivery through to aftercare. As a key communicator, you will be responsible for ensuring the client’s requirements are achieved at all times, coordinating with the project team to ensure a successful and hassle-free project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of a £6 million industrial warehouse project.
Manage the project programme, ensuring milestones and completion targets are met.
Oversee site operations, including health & safety, quality control, and subcontractor performance.
Chair site meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with design, commercial, and client teams to manage costs, variations, and risks.
Ensure compliance with construction regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Lead, motivate, and mentor the site management team.
Manage procurement schedules, subcontractor orders, and material deliveries.
Monitor and control project budgets, including reporting on costs and value.
Maintain strong communication with the client to ensure requirements are consistently met.
Take responsibility for post-delivery aftercare and client satisfaction.Requirements / Relevant Experience

Proven experience on industrial and fit-out projects, with a strong delivery record.
Experience delivering projects up to £20 million in value.
Longevity of service with previous employer(s) is preferred.
Excellent managerial skills with a proven track record of leading project teams successfully.Qualifications & Skills

Degree or Higher Education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
SMSTS or equivalent.
CSCS Card.
First Aid Training.
Proficient IT skills.
Excellent management, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate project teams and maintain high-quality delivery standards.What’s on Offer
