Residential Care Officer - Part-Time
Doncaster| £28,176-£31,101 pro-rata | 21 hrs/week, Permanent

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people? Doncaster Council is expanding its residential services and seeking committed Residential Care Officer - Part-Time professionals to join our Good and Outstanding-rated homes.

As a Residential Care Officer - Part-Time, you'll work 21 hours/week on a rota with 2 weekends off every 4 weeks. Sleep-in shifts (approx. 4/month) add £2,000/year. With overtime paid at time and a quarter and South Yorkshire Pension contributions, your total package is highly competitive.

What You'll Do:

Provide consistent, compassionate care for looked-after children
Support emotional, social, and physical development
Work therapeutically with children with complex behaviours
Collaborate with managers and senior care officers
Complete QCF Level 3 and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trainingShift Details:

10pm-7am shifts
