Pertemps are working in partnership with DHL Tkmaxx (Ferrybridge) & have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class C+E Earlies/ Afters/Night Drivers Thursday to Monday (Any days would help if you don’t want to do them all). This would be to work out of a National Distribution Centre situated in Knottingley (Ferrybridge), West Yorkshire. This is Working on behalf of our client who specialise in the logistics industry and are global leaders in this field. Drivers will transport products to Retail Stores from the distribution centre
In return the HGV C+E Drivers salary

Monday to Friday rates Days- From 4am £18.07ph & £27.10ph
Monday to Friday Nights- From 13:00pm £19.18ph & £28.77ph
Saturday All Hours £22.66ph Based on a minimum of 8hrs Flat Rates
Sunday All Hours: £22.66ph Based on a minimum of 8hrs Flat Rates
Break Deductions of 45 mins taken after anything worked over 8hrs

All Drivers pay rates are based on PAYE, we do not accept LTD or Umbrella companies.

Holidays
On top of the Hourly rate, you will accrue Holiday pay, which on average is based on 2 days a month on a 40hr week, Holidays are NOT paid in advance to make the rate look higher.

Duties will include:

Trunking work to RDC’s
No Handballing & No Lifting
Opening back doors
Can do Attitude.
A safety-first approach to driving and ensuring loads are safely secured.
Completing daily delivery paperwork and log sheets.
Earlies Between 01:00-03:00 (Generally weekends only at these times)
Afters & Nights Between 12:00-21:00 (We like you to have a Window gap of around 2-3hrs)
Fully paid induction on a successful Driving Assessment

Drivers Skills and experience:

Hold an HGV C+E licence with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
A driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and free of endorsements such as DD’s, DR’s or IN10s.
Possession of an OPS35 (DHL) assessment is desirable and would be advantageous. BUT not essential.
