About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to take ownership of machinery, equipment, and facility maintenance at a busy manufacturing site in High Wycombe.

This is a hands-on leadership role — perfect for someone who thrives on keeping production running smoothly, leading a skilled team, and driving continuous improvement across all maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a robust maintenance strategy to ensure maximum machine uptime.

*

Lead, motivate, and support a team of maintenance technicians.

*

Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and minimise breakdowns.

*

Manage equipment repairs and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

*

Maintain the site facilities, including buildings, utilities, and grounds.

*

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and environmental standards.

*

Analyse performance data and identify areas for improvement.

*

Liaise with external contractors and manage supplier relationships.

*

Control spare parts inventory and manage maintenance documentation.

What We’re Looking For

*

5+ years’ experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing or industrial environments.

*

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

*

Proven leadership and team management skills.

*

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

*

Solid understanding of H&S regulations, RAMS, COSHH, and Fire Safety.

*

Good IT and reporting skills (Microsoft Office proficiency).

*

Relevant technical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).

*

A proactive, detail-driven, and adaptable approach with a strong work ethic.
