Contract Personnel are very happy to be recruiting on behalf of our valued client based in Thetford who are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Driver with a CPC qualification and Digital Tacho Card.

This position will be driving a 3.5 Tonne Van with a vehicle transporter trailer up to 6.3 tonne total weight, as well as Luton vans. It will involve nationwide deliveries and on occasions delivering across Europe, which will require you to do nights out.

This is a fulltime, varied role with some days based in the depot when not out delivering. In this instance, you must be prepared to use your own initiative by cleaning vans, tidying up in the warehouse and any other duties as instructed.

This is a customer facing role and can involve heavy lifting. The correct candidate must take pride in their work and be professional at all times. Flexibility and being able to adapt to the business needs is paramount.

Strong communication skills are also required due to the ever changing needs of customers .This is a very varied job where no two weeks are the same.

Drivers Must Hold:

Full UK Driving Licence with C1 entitlement
Digital Tacho
Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
Due to insurance purposes, drivers must be at least 30 years old
Full understanding of Road Traffic Laws
