T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an innovative global manufacturing business who focus on the development and reengineering of industrial machinery for a variety of sectors, to help them to recruit a Quality Inspector.

As a Quality Inspector you will join a growing Quality team responsible for ensuring that all the goods supplied to the business are up to and in line with the standards of quality set.

Key Responsibilities as a Quality Inspector

* Inspection of components using a variety of measurement equipment and techniques such as using Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers and laser scanners.

* Check all goods inwards deliveries, are appropriately packaged with the relevant inspection records/certificates of conformity where specified.

* Completion and management of Non-conformance reports where parts don’t meet standards or specifications and liaison with both internal teams and suppliers to ensure satisfactory resolution.

* Management and maintenance of equipment condition and calibration.

* Carry out supplier audits to ensure ongoing quality management.

Requirements to be a successful Quality Inspector

* Proven experience within a similar quality/inspection role.

* Experience of measuring parts and components using manual inspection equipment such as; verniers, Calipers, Micrometer, Johannsson, Pin and Digital height gauges, Etc.

* A strong understanding / ability to interpret, analyse and read engineering drawings.

* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

* Fantastic communication skills with a great attention for detail.

* Parts / stock management experience using an ERP / MRP system essential.

The role will be based from the companies headquarters in Rugby, with a salary of £35,000 initially budgeted depending on experience.
