Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Nelson
Salary: Starting at £50,000 increasing after probation completed.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts - 42-hour average week - (Please ask for the visual pattern.)

We’re proud to be partnered with a expanding, industry-leading FMCG manufacturer in Nelson, and we’re looking for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team.

This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, technically advanced operation where you’ll be at the heart of keeping production lines moving and improving every day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

*

Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery

*

Responding to breakdowns and ensuring minimum downtime

*

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency

*

Working collaboratively within a skilled engineering team

*

Helping shape a proactive, solutions-driven maintenance culture

What You’ll Bring:

*

A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.

*

Solid experience in both mechanical fitting and electrical fault finding

*

A background in manufacturing, ideally food, drink, or packaging

*

A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
