Higher Level Teaching Assistant - The Role

This Primary School are looking for an experienced higher level Teaching Assistant to join their team. They are looking for someone who has experience working throughout EYFS to Year 6. This Higher level Teaching Assistant role involves having the responsibility of teaching a class when other staff members are sick/ absent. The school are looking for someone who is confident in the Primary curriculum. This Higher level Teaching Assistant role is a long term position, starting in January and has the opportunity to become permanent.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant - The school

This is a Primary School based in the London Borough of Barnet, Edgware, enrolling 141 students ages 4 -11 years old. The school pride themselves on having staff that are ambitious for all children and are determined that they will succeed through care, learning and direction that they receive. They are passionate about the safeguarding and welfare of all students and staff members. In the most recent Ofsted report, the school was rated Ofsted ‘Good’ due to their staff management, leadership team and quality of education. The school is a short walk away from both underground stations and bus routes.
