Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Milton Keynes
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026

Supply Desk is excited to be partnering with a forward-thinking and supportive secondary school in Milton Keynes, looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring the subject to life through dynamic teaching that helps students understand the world around them — from climate change and globalisation to natural disasters and sustainability.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Inspire students to explore both the physical and human elements of Geography through real-world examples and case studies

Encourage critical thinking, debate, and problem-solving in the classroom

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support

Foster a classroom environment that is inclusive, respectful, and curiosity-driven

Take part in the wider school community, including field trips and enrichment activities

About You:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Have a strong academic background and subject knowledge in Geography

Be passionate about teaching and inspiring young people

Have excellent classroom management and communication skills

Be a team player with a commitment to continuous professional development

Be creative, adaptable, and driven to make a positive impact in your students’ education
