TEXO Recruitment is seeking a Lead PHE (Plate Heat Exchanger) Technician on behalf of one of our external clients based in Aberdeen. This role involves supervising a team of on-site technicians and taking the lead in all aspects of PHE servicing — including disassembly and inspection, thorough cleaning, carrying out necessary repairs, and ensuring correct reassembly.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

* 5–8 years’ experience working with plate heat exchangers, including supervisory roles.

* Strong understanding of gasketed, brazed, welded, and shell & tube PHEs.

* Ability to read technical drawings and operate related tools and machinery.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* Full clean UK driving license.

* Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise and lead daily activities of PHE technicians.

* Oversee disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of PHEs.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on-site and in the workshop.

* Ensure job planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.

* Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

* Enforce health, safety, and quality compliance across all tasks.

* Mentor team members and support training and competency development.
