About the Role:

Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that bring historical events and themes to life
Foster critical thinking, debate, and a love for learning in your students
Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback and support
Collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality resources and curriculum planning
Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities

The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome)
Have experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
Be committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive learning environment
Possess strong communication and classroom management skills
Be dedicated to inclusion, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
