Electrical Supervisor

About the Project

We’re working on a commercial project (e.g. fit‑out / shell & core / office block / retail centre / mixed use) and need an experienced Electrical Supervisor on a freelance basis. The role involves overseeing electrical works on site, making sure standards, safety, schedule, and quality are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise all electrical trades on site: electricians, subcontractors

* Interpret drawings, specifications & designs; ensure they are followed

* Carry out regular inspections and quality control of installation work

* Coordinate with other trade supervisors, project manager, site manager

* Enforce health & safety: ensure RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) are in place, PPE, safe systems of work

* Inspect test & inspection paperwork, commissioning documentation

* Track progress, identify delays / risks, escalate as needed

* Assist with snagging, defect resolution, hand‑over documentation

* Maintain daily/weekly reports, accurate records (timesheets, materials usage, etc.)

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Electrical Supervisor 3 years minimum experience

* Evidence of supervisory experience on commercial or industrial projects

* Valid ECS Gold Card

* SSSTS

* Full UK Driving Licence
