The Role

As a Cover Supervisor in Greenwich, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and focused. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment, supporting both teaching staff and pupils.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise classes in the absence of the main teacher as a Cover Supervisor
Ensure lessons run smoothly, following teacher-provided instructions and materials
Manage behaviour and maintain a safe, structured learning environment
Support students in completing tasks and activities, providing guidance where needed
Liaise with teaching staff and report on student progress and behaviourIdeal Candidates

Graduates with a degree in Maths, English, or Science
Enthusiastic, organised, and confident working with secondary school students
Experience in classroom or mentoring roles is desirable
