Our client, a well-established leader within the industrial supply and distribution sector, based in Gateshead, has an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join their team on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis. Working Monday – Friday 08.30am – 17.00pm this is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing work for someone who’s confident on the phone and with administration.

The successful Sales Administrator should have:

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders
A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to multitask
Previous experience in manufacturing, MRO, PPE, or a trade counter environment (preferred but not essential)
Good IT and administrative skills, with confidence in handling quotations and sales data
In this role, the Sales Administrator will be responsible for:

Following up on customer quotations
Accurately processing customer orders and managing back orders
Supporting the operational team by coordinating spare parts and consolidating supply chains
Managing daily deliveries and maintaining stock levels
Assisting with manual handling of stocked products and replenishing satellite store locations
